2025 Ascend

Our players travelled west this month to the city of London to play at Ascend badminton for the Ontario Jr. C tournament. We’re very pleased to announce all our representing players have made the podium.

• At the U15 BD event, Josh and Danny continue to pave the way to fight off and fend off older and bigger opponents, despite Danny having to play up an age category our boys have managed to secure and win the consolations round. Congratulations Josh and Danny!
• At the U13 MXD event, Danny and Aashritha formed partnership for the first time, they’ve played and trained a few times leading up to the tournament. It seems that the training have paid off as the pair managed to win the U13 mixed doubles gold. Congratulations Aashritha and Danny!
• Lastly, at the U13 BS and U13 GS event, both Danny and Aashritha have fought hard and played magnificently to earn a place in the podium finishing 3rd place in their respective event.
